Golden Ears Writers is hosting its fourth annual Ghost Story Writing Retreat at Loon Lake Lodge, British Columbia. (Ghost-story-writing is the theme, not a requirement. During past retreats writers have worked on a variety of projects.)

Writers stay in the two Johnson Cabins and take meals together in the Bentley Dining Hall just up the hill.  Rooms are private with a desk and chair, and every two rooms share one bathroom which is just down the hall. Attendees bring their own bedding and towels. There are several common lounge areas, and the meeting room downstairs (overlooking the lake) will be set up with tables and chairs.  Transportation to and from the event is the responsibility of those attending. Loon Lake is north of Maple Ridge and is not serviced by public transit.

The cost is $340 Cdn per person which includes meals (Vegan and gluten free are available for an additional $21). A $100 deposit secures the reservation and is fully refundable until September 15th, 2018 when the balance is due. There are no refunds after Sept 15th, but the reservation is transferable to the next person on the waitlist (if there isn’t a waitlist, the individual is responsible for finding a writer to transfer it to).

This is a non-smoking event.
